This tutorial shows you how to setup Outlook Express to send emails via the Webconexion SMTP server.
Step 1: Firstly you must setup the POP mailbox following our Email Configuration (Receiving) >> tutorial. If you have a POP mailbox already created go to step 2.
Step 2: Pull down the Tools menu and click Accounts.
Step 3: Click on your E-mail account and click the Properties button.
Step 4: Click on the Servers tab. Change the SMTP server name to: smtp.webconexion.co.uk. Check the box that says..."My server requires authentication", and click the Settings button.
Step 5: Type your full email address (NOT your POP username) into the "Account name" field and your POP password into the "Password" field. Click the OK button. Your Done.
