Please read these terms and conditions before you place an order with Webconexion Internet Solutions. Note that by creating a customer account and/or configuring your domain name and/or uploading content to your web space is indication that you are agreeing to the terms and conditions defined below.

General Terms

• We do not allow Adult, Warez, illegal MP3 Sites or IRC Bots.



• We do not allow you to point any domain names you register with us to sites that contain Adult Material, Warez, illegal MP3 Sites or IRC Bots. This includes using web forwarding to point to such material or changing your nameservers to point to a provider offering such services. Domain names in breach of this condition must be transferred away from Webconexion Internet Solutions to another provider.



• You may not store more data in your account than your allotted virtual server space.



• Your virtual server (including FTP and Telnet access) is for your personal use only. You must not divulge the password to any other person, and you should take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not discovered by other people.



• Data stored on our servers is not guaranteed to be backed up. It is recommended that you keep an independent backup of all data stored on your virtual server.



• You may not run server processes (e.g. talkers/IRC Bots) from your virtual server.



• We shall not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.



• When your account is closed, all files (including web pages, etc.) will be deleted.



• We reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice.



• We reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.



• To protect your privacy we never distribute your name or e-mail address to any third parties.



• Users must not participate in any form of un-solicited bulk e-mailing or spam.



• By logging into your account, or uploading files to it, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Technical Support

• The client understands that all technical support relating to domain names and web hosting accounts etc. is provided via email only. Technical support can be contacted by emailing support@webconexion.net 24 hours a day or by sending a support request via the hosting control panel.



• Technical support queries are actioned within 24 hours. But, depending on the nature of the query, response time can be within the hour for simple queries.

Cancellation and Refunds

• If accounts are in arrears, we reserve the right to revoke all technical support.



• We reserve the right to cancel services and products due to non payment of invoices.



• If your hosting account is cancelled and is later re-activated, an administration fee of £30 is levied on your account.



• You may cancel your account within 30 days of ordering and receive a full refund. NOTE: This is not applicable to domain name registrations.



• No refunds can be given on domain names

Domain Name Registration

• We cannot be held responsible for the in-availabilty of a domain name that our domain search software shows as available. In the event that an error occurs with our whois search we will not process the payment for services and will let you know that the domain was not available and that the order has been cancelled.



• It can take up to 24 hours to process your order and so if a third party registers your choice of domain name in this time Webconexion Internet Solutions cannot be held liable for the in-availability of the ordered domain name. Again, in this case, payment will not be processed for the order and the order will be cancelled.



• You agree and acknowledge that we will make domain name registration information you provide available to the registry administrators via the third parties we use to register domain names. You further agree and acknowledge that the registry administrators will make publicly available, or directly available to third party vendors, some, or all, of the domain name registration information you provide, for purposes of inspection (such as through the WHOIS service) or other purposes as required or permitted by the registry administrators and the applicable laws.
  
  You hereby consent to any and all such disclosures and use of, and guidelines, limits and restrictions on disclosure or use of, information provided by you in connection with the registration of a domain name (including any updates to such information), whether during or after the term of your registration of the domain name. You hereby irrevocably waive any and all claims and causes of action you may have arising from such disclosure or use of your domain name registration information by us.
  
  

Paying By Cheque or Postal Order

• If you choose to pay by cheque or postal order for a new domain name registration, we obviously cannot guarantee that the selected domain name will be available once funds have cleared in our account.



• We cannot be held accountable for the in-availability of a domain name that has been ordered by cheque payment. We recommend that if a domain registration is critial then the client makes online payment for services.



• In the event that a third party has registered the ordered domain name between the time of the order and clearing of the funds Webconexion Internet Solutions will refund the cleared funds in full.

Telnet Access

• Telnet shell accounts are made available for editing and setting up your web site. It is not a development platform for issues unrelated to your web site.



• You must not leave you home directory at any time.



• You must not attempt to gain the privileges of another user.



• Interfering with the following files will result in your telnet access being removed - .bash_history - .bash_logout - .bash_profile - .bashrc

Control Panel Software

• Any attempt to use our Control Panel Software for purposes other than its intended use will result in your account being terminated.



• Any attempt to obtain the source code and internal functionality of our Control Panel Software will result in legal action.

Bandwidth Usage

• If your bandwidth reaches the points where it has an adverse affect on other clients we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwidth usage.



• Each web hosting account includes a nominated amount of bandwidth, if you use more than this amount then you agree to pay for this bandwidth at a rate of 5p (five pence) per 1 MB used per month + an admin charge of 50% of the total bill. So if you were to use 1200MB extra we would bill you for £60 for the bandwidth used and also an admin fee of 50% of this meaning the total invoice would be £90.



• You will be invoiced for additional bandwidth the month after the bandwidth allowance was exceeded (usually within the first week). Once the invoice has been sent, you have 7 days in which to settle the invoice to avoid your account being suspended. If your account is suspended for non-payment of bandwidth charges we will leave the site suspended until payment has been made.

Web Pages

• Commercial use of web and ftp space is permitted.



• You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law.



• You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s).



• We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. Webconexion Internet Solutions do not allow adult, warez or illegal MP3 web sites on their servers.

Renewals

• You will be contacted 42 days before the expiry of any accounts you have with Webconexion Internet Solutions and then sent further reminders until 14 days before your accounts expiry date.



• If renewal payment is not received 14 days before your account expiry, your account will be flagged for deletion and a re-activation fee will be required to renew your account.



• You must ensure that you keep your contact details and email address up to date as we use this information to contact you with regards to renewals.
